Parking and Directions
The Ellwanger Estate is located at 625 Mount Hope Avenue. Free parking is available at One Mount Hope Avenue and a complementary shuttle will run between the lot and the Ellwanger Estate from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Wednesday-Sunday. On-street parking may be available on Robinson Drive. There is no public parking available on site although on-site drop-off is available for visitors needing extra care.
Exit I-490, junction 17, at Goodman Street and head south on Goodman. Turn right at the first traffic light onto S. Clinton Avenue, and turn left on either Alexander Street or Averill Avenue. Turn right onto Mt. Hope Avenue. The parking lot entrance is on the left, between Time Warner's offices and the Old Stone Warehouse. From Elmwood Avenue, drive north on Mt. Hope Avenue (Rte. 15) as far as you can go: the parking lot is on the left.
Please note that only the first floor of the house is wheelchair-accessible and there is very limited handicap permit parking on site.
